Association membership

Every insurance broker and insurance agent — individual or legal entity — listed in the register is automatically an associate member of the Association of Insurance Agents and Brokers. No application is needed; membership can be confirmed by a memorandum, and additional features can be added under a plan.
The Association of Insurance Agents and Brokers unites professional intermediaries of Kazakhstan's insurance market: insurance brokers and insurance agents.
Associate Membership by Default
Every industry representative, whether an insurance broker, an insurance agent who is an individual or an insurance agent that is a legal entity, whose details are entered in the registers of insurance companies and the authorized body, is automatically an associate member of the association. No separate application or fees are required: your profile is already in the association's register.
An associate member receives:
- a profile in the association's public register listing the insurance companies that have confirmed cooperation;
- a rating and client reviews, as well as client requests for quotes and policy issuance;
- access to news, open materials, glossaries of terms and calculators;
- the opportunity to complete the association's training and accreditation.
To manage your profile (update details, accept requests and respond to reviews), find yourself in the register and click "Is this your profile?".
Confirming Membership via the Memorandum
Associate membership can be confirmed by joining the Memorandum with Insurance Market Participants. By joining, a participant confirms its commitment to common principles of market conduct: good faith towards the client, full disclosure of insurance terms, compliance with legislation and continuous professional development.
Accession is formalized by a letter on company letterhead (for legal entities) or under a personal signature (for agents who are individuals). The text of the letter and the memorandum is available on the "Joining the Memorandum" page.
Additional Features with a Plan
An associate member can subscribe to a plan and gain additional features: insurance market analytics, participation in discussions of draft laws and joint work on legislation, advanced training and a "Member of the Association" badge in the register.
